九 十 九　( jiǔ　shí　jiǔ )

chī　fàn　jiǎn　sān　kǒu，
吃 　饭　减 　 三　 口，

chī　le　bǎi　bù　zǒu，
吃　了　百　步　走，

zǎo　qǐ　kàn　rì　chū，
早　 起　看　日　出，

shuì　jiào　bù　méng　shǒu，
睡 　 觉　  不　 蒙　　首，

nián　jì　huó　dào　jiǔ　shí　jiǔ。
年 　 纪　活　 到　 九　十　九。

Translation:   NINETY-NINE

On three less bites of rice I dine,
Then one hundred paces I tread;
I rise early to see the day shine,
Asleep I cover not my head.
I shall live to ninety-nine.
